Good Times, Bad Times, you know I had my share;
When my woman left home for a brown eyed man,
Well, I still don't seem to care.
Sixteen, I fell in love with a girl as sweet as could be,
Only took a couple of days 'til she was rid of me.
She swore that she would be all mine and love me till the end,
But when I whispered in her ear, I lost another friend, oooh.
Good Times, Bad Times, you know I had my share;
When my woman left home for a brown eyed man,
Well, I still don't seem to care.
I know what it means to be alone, I sure do wish I was at home.
I don't care what the neighbors say, I'm gonna love you each and every day.
You can feel the beat within my heart.
Realize, sweet babe, we ain't ever gonna part.
In the days of my youth, I was told what it means to be a man,
Now I've reached that age, I've tried to do all those things the best I can.
No matter how I try, I find my way into the same old jam.

Fate wears a breastplate as ancient as he is; an enchanted metal, possibly gold, that grows as he grows and shifts size and shape depending on need. Most often, it is a simple-yet-elegant piece with a long, flowing red cloak attached that lay between Fate's wings and trails along the ground as he moves. At its center is a gem that reflects the color of his mood: white for happiness, black for despair, blue for sadness, purple for excitement, red for anger, green for confusion, grey for exhaustion, and gold for exultation.
He is quiet most often, content to nap and laze in the sun when Time has no tasks for him. He enjoys the company of younger generations, especially children, and tells many tales of his travels through Time and of other, undiscovered Realms far away to inspire their young imaginations and rampant dreams. However, he is careful of speaking of the many multiple futures he has Seen and has visited; for with the wrong push, the balance of time may be thrown away, and all fall into ruin.
To friends, he is a cheery old gent who is overly fond of riddles and running young ones on tasks he has little trouble with himself. To enemies, he is a fearsome opponent, gifted with the gods' power, though restricted in its use but for the most dire of circumstances. He views dragons - and all the other creatures of the world - as his wards as much as Time does, and seeks to guard the lives of those they govern whenever he gets the chance.
Elementally, he is attuned to darkness, fire and light, with an adverse weakness to ice and lightning. He often uses shadow-bound smoke to conceal his movements if leaving a crowd so that none may accidentally follow him to places where they cannot go, and likes to put on shows of light for young ones watching the stars.
Despite his power, Time retains a strict hold over its usage - Fate's mind, body and soul belong to the god and no other. He will only use his abilities if directed or given permission, and if found utilizing them for some other purpose, risks dire consequences and swift punishment.
