Verri's Off-Base Commissions

So, unlike when I took commissions in previous years, this time around I will be doing an hourly wage instead of flat prices! This wage will be $15 USD an hour and will be done on a quote basis. How will this work? Keep readin'!

Process

So, you want me to draw your character! Awesome!! How much will it be? Well, that will depend on a number of things. To inquire about a commission, you need to Note/DM me with what you want (flatcolor, sketch, scribble, etc) and the reference OR a detailed written description of your character.

I will look over your character, calculate roughly how long it will take me to complete this piece, and then send you a quote!

PLEASE DO NOTE that there will be a MINIMUM PAYMENT due before I begin on orders that will take me longer than an hour. This will cover the first hour at $15!

TERMS OF SERVICE

By reading over these terms and submitting a commission request, you are agreeing to them!

1. I retain ALL copyrights to my art. this allows me to post it in my galleries/to social media, share my art, and use it in promotional pieces. this does not mean I gain the rights to your character, and I cannot bar you from using work that I have done that depicts your character! this just means I can show off my work. ^^

2. do not claim my art as your own or share it without my signature. my signature is small, do not crop it out! if I see anyone doing this, I will BLOCK you from ever getting art from me again.

3. this is NOT first come first served! I will select what one I want to do regardless of who was first, then commissions will likely close until I finish the one/ones I have selected. no pestering! if you can't wait until next time, I will ignore you. c:

4. I will not raise the price for multiple characters; HOWEVER the more characters there are, the longer it'll take me... and the more expensive it will be!

5. PLEASE do not edit or change my artwork without gaining approval from me first. I'm not hard about this - I just wanna make sure that I know about edits before you edit them so I don't see them later on and go 'what?!?!' haha! this does not include editing for graphics, however, you can do that to your heart's content!

6. my art is NOT for commercial use! if you want to purchase commercial rights, we need to discuss this and figure out what pricing I will need. don't make money off my art, it's uncool. :P

7. I draw in my own style; though I'll try to make your critter look as close to your reference as possible, I will draw them the way I draw and that's that! please do not ask me to copy someone else's style exactly. this includes anime/manga styles, those evade me entirely. sorry!

8. payment will be via PAYPAL ONLY. you send me your email address, I send you an invoice! I will also only refund up to the sketch stage, but if I've gone any farther, I will not refund.

9. when sending me a Note/DM about a commission, please make sure to include all details of what you want! if I finish a drawing and you mention the character was supposed to have a scar over their eye that wasn't on the ref, I'm not gonna be a happy artist!

I WILL DRAW:
- animals
- fantasy animals
- closed/open species
- mild gore
- most complex designs (though the more complex, the more time it'll take, the more expensive it'll be!)

I WILL NOT DRAW:
- humans or humanoids of any kind
- lots of gore
- sexual things
- robots

Flatcolor Design - Smooth Lined

Offering FLATCOLOR DESIGNS! These will be standing-pose only, maybe slightly dynamic, and smooth lined (lines will blend into the colors). Complexity makes the price go up!

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 4 to 6 hours

(~$60 to $90)

Flatcolor Design - Rough/Black Lined

Offering FLATCOLOR DESIGNS! These will be standing-pose only, maybe slightly dynamic, and rough lined (lines will be black with a pencil texture). Complexity makes the price go up!

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 4 to 5 hours

(~$60 to $75)

Scribble

Offering SCRIBBLE/DOODLES! Quick-lined, flatcolor pictures, often with dynamic poses, and maybe textures. Complexity makes the price go up! Details in these may be simplified.

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 1 to 2 hours

(~$15 to $30)

Lines (No Color)

No-color lineart! Currently only offering static/standing poses. Base white color up to you, but may take more time. Cmplexity makes the price go up!

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 2 to 3 hours

(~$30 to $45)

Sketch (Quick)

A very quick, undetailed conceptual sketch. No colors except for sketch lines if you want them to be not black.

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 15 minutes to 1 hour

(~$15, dependent on what you want)

Sketch (Detailed)

A several-stage sketch with multiple layers of refinement and some detail. No colors except for sketch lines if you want them to be not black.

AVERAGE ESTIMATE: 30 minutes to 2 hours

(~$7.50 to $30, dependent on what you want)
